Saluting Heroes...

We have just found out over the last week or so that a couple of our hockey brothers will be shipping out to carry on the fight for freedom so that we may continue to enjoy the life that we love so much.

Derek Tillemans: Fugaweez I league (below center) - United States Army

Brandon Suits: Phantoms D-League (below)- United States Marine Corps

We all get caught up in our little squabbles over ringers, refing, ice times, ect. We forget to remember the important things in life. Whether you are for the war or not, whatever. Two awesome friends and hockey players will be missed at the rink.
Godspeed boys, come home safe, and most importantly Thank You.
BAC
(if anyone else know any of our hockey brethern or sisters currently serving...let us know)

Guys thank you for serving our country. I'm a Air Force brat. My father is a retired Master Sergeant who served a tour in Vietnam and 2 tours in Thiland maintencing aircraft to fight in the Vietnam War.

My support and prayers go to both of you guys, especially you Tilly. You have been a good friend & teammate on the Leftovers. And a good friend to many in the I-league.

Without the US Military we will not experience the freedom in this country and there would be no hockey in Euless.

Guys, make your country proud AND GO OUT THERE AND KICK SOME ASS IN IRAQ! And also please return home safe soon!

Thank you & God bless

Its ironic that you ended your message with "peace".

Thanks to the real heroes in our midst...we will look forward to welcoming you back to the rink to enjoy the freedoms that you are securing for us and others around the world.

BAC says it best, Godspeed boys.

Yep I ended it with Peace....after a good boot in the ass maybe they will lay down and shut up for awhile. Then "peace."

And we can all get on with exporting their oil!! This way it cost less to get our hockey loving butts to the DPSC!

Of course I said peace you #$%#$ @$%@$#@@ yuppie!

Sometimes in order to have peace you have to silence the disturbance. Shoot the barking dog so to speak. :) Have I pissed you off yet?

I am surprised you were able to unwrap your arms from around that tree you have been hugging, long enough to make such a dumb @$$ comment. So go on and wrap the towel back around your fat head and lets just hope our people come back alive!

PEACE!!!

To All;

THANKS very much for your support! I've LOVED every minute of ice time with all of you; the only score is if we had fun together. Tha answer is always YES!

Please keep in touch-my Army email address is: derek.a.tillemans@us.army.mil
I look forward to LOTS of ice time with ice cold drinks when I return.
Enjoy every moment and each other, and have fun on rink with the family of hockey brothers and sisters.
