Two teams out of keg contention battle for nothing. The mighty Josh Briscoe says this will be a game to forget.
Patriots vs Borrachos: 7:45pm Gold
Stuckeman vs Sharma. Haley vs Hodges. Gonzales vs Gonzales!? Who will Gonzales play for in this one? The winner of this one has a lock on 3rd and maybe 2nd.
Snipers vs Puckers: 9pm Gold

Blue Devils vs Stickmen: 10pm Green
The Silver Division Leader faces a tough opponent in this one. Stickmen have a chance to defend Gold Division honor.
Brewzers vs Spiders: 10:15pm Gold
Brewzers are trying to hang in with a jumbled silver division. Spiders still mad from the defeat at the hands of mayhem a couple weeks ago.
Komets vs Leftovers: 11:15pm Green
We hope people can get off the ice in this game. But for some reason Jeff Vaughan declares this game to be a classic. We don’t know why.
Shockers vs Fugaweez: 11:30pm GoldApparently the Shockers and Fugaweez tangle for the 2nd time this season. Last time they met it was a shockers shootout win. But if you miss this game, Fear not! Because they tangle AGAIN in a couple weeks

Jeff Vaughn must have known the Leftovers were going to load up with "hockey talent" for this match. There were more subs on the Leftovers bench than actual Leftovers players. Even the infamous Gallagher (not the mellon smasher) joined the Leftovers squad for this tilt.

I heard the rumor that next season, instead of GOLD and SILVER divisions, they will be renamed HODGES and SHARMA.
Boycott the Bar until they drop the prices. The answer to greed within an economy based on capitalism is to use the power choice. Spend your money elsewhere for a couple of weeks and they will drop the price. I promise you. So start a collective I-league boycott and they will hear you. Let's fix the beer problem first, but warn them that solving the food problem is next on the list!!!
This does raise the question, "Where do we get beer during the course of this boycott?" Well you could always BYOB and hang out in the parking lot for a couple of weeks. The weather will be nice enough for it. Or go to the bar and just order water, and tell the guy when you drop your price I will buy a pitcher.

A boycott would be a very touchy thing to do: its the actual production companies for the brew that dictate the price for the Starscenter to buy...a boycott would only probably cause the barkeeps and so to NOT buy labbatts....why buy a beer to sell if no one buys it?

It was the Crossbar verion of the shocker. And on St Patties day too. Kind of like the crap we are getting from the oil companies and TXU. The beerflation is one more wound to the old pocket book, which is hard to take when trying to set aside money for league fees.
