Games of February 25:
Game of the week:
Ice Holes 1, Patriots 0
A late third-period pileup in front of Jon Ellis' net results in the only goal of a thriller between co-first place teams. [Photos below] A. Cortinas scores the winner with 5:14 left on a Peter Neift assist. Congrats to Ice Holes, a.k.a. Irving Police & Fire. Could be smooth sailing to the keg title game, but watch out for those Stickmen in Game 9 ... Patriots, meanwhile, will probably get their shot at playing these guys again -- on March 25.
