Stars get publicity...

Excited Dallas Stars Hear Dallas Morning News Reporter May Be At Next Game

DALLAS—After eliminating the Anaheim Ducks in the first round of the NHL Playoffs Sunday, Dallas Stars coach Dave Tippett excited his players with the possibility that a Dallas Morning News reporter might attend the first game of the Western Conference Semifinals on May 2. "I've been sending e-mails and making calls all season trying to get someone from the media to cover us," said Tippett, adding that a front-row seat at center ice would be reserved for the reporter. "I don't want to get the players' hopes up, but I think they may even send a sports reporter instead of the human-interest lady this time. This could be the real deal." When asked for comment, Morning News editor Garry Leavell said that he could not guarantee a reporter would be at the game, as sports coverage would be dependent upon the Dallas Mavericks' performance in the NBA playoffs, whether or not the Texas Rangers have a game that night, and if Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens decided to say or do something

NFL draft is pretty big news for this weekend

man f that, I am a die hard Cowboys fan and have watched the draft for years. I sat at home and watched the draft for several hour only to see the cowboys trade the pick at the last minute. I love the draft but if the boys are picking in the top ten and may trade that pick screw it.
Give me the NHL not some bust pick or an offensive lineman.

Dallas media sucks... Who gives a f about the Rangers? Um sure Hicks would appreciate some media on his organization that doesn't totally blow ass.

I agree with all the above comments made here. I'm a baseball fan, but as for the Rangers, I could care less about them. They haven't produced s#^t for 35 years. I'm hoping with Nolan Ryan being named team president, he can turn the team around.

As for the Stars. This could possiblly be the year they raise the cup. They are at a very comfertable role at being the underdog. San Jose thinks that we are weak and it has already come back to bite'em in the ass.

But my # 1 favorite sport is football. And I have always been a diehard Cowboy fan since I was 5 years old. I've already got my wings ordered from Wingstop and I'm ready to watch the NFL Draft. Maybe the Cowboys will draft the player that will get'em the Vince Lombardi trophy this next Febuary.

The Onion is a satarical/comedy website. Some of their videos are pretty funny.

Check out-- "Army holds annual bring your daughter to war day" or "hungry FDA official orders massive pot pie recall" or "Home depot honors fallen soldiers with great prices on tools"
