Scoring leaders after Week 5

*A note about stats: Players accumulate stats by team. That is, if you play for more than one team, you have a stat line for each team. Stats are compiled according to official scoresheets. Any mistakes or misspellings or omissions are due to incomplete or inaccurate scoresheets. If your name is misspelled, leave a comment and it will be corrected. In other words, this process is like hand grenades; we're just trying to get it in the vicinity. -- The management

UPDATE: Fair Park Ice struggles

According to Dallas Morning News reporter David Flick, the new/old rink is struggling at Fair Park, despite all its charm and hours of open ice. He reports today (www.dallasnews.com) that after an initial rush of skaters, business has fallen off during public skating hours, with the ice sometimes devoid of customers.

Rink officials say they're bringing in less than a third of the $35,000 in monthly operating expenses, but they insist the rink is in no danger of permanently closing. However, it will shut down in April for the summer – as planned. The rink's chief says it will reopen after the State Fair. We'll see about that ...

See my earlier posts about the rink, which included operating hours and contact info.
