Thanbks musy go out to Stone Cold for personally coaching the Komets through a glorious win against the Ice Holes. I personnally witnessed the occurance in the locker room prior to gametime. Cold came in and got the attention of all who would listen. Then proceded to say.

"I just wanna saw that my team really sucked last week and you guys played awesome. You totally obliterated us and I am embarrassed. Good luck tonight versus the Ice Holes"

Why is Stone Cold even going into the Komets locker room? Wasn't he the one that left that team because he thought they were doing awful and he could do better?

Why doesn't Stone Cold just go to the penalty box, like he always does....

Common element, Stone Cold on Komets, they suck. Stone Cold on Left Overs - we suck, and still have to put up with him. Get over yourself S.C. and take a few lessons why don't you.

I am going to defend my boy stone cold.

No matter how bad you think stone cold is, the people that were on the spuds know of a person that was much worse, as a person and a player. I will not mention his name, but KW actually hated his team so much that on the last game of the season he asked the team that we were playing if he could sub. FYI, that is the night the komets were born.

They leftovers have people that sit in the penalty box WAY more than SC does. Come to think about it, I can only remember one penalty he has taken.

News flash....the Komets didn't get better because one person left the team. They got better because they work hard and have a few really good players for this league. Leftovers suck because of one player, Ellis. j/k But it seems like the person that posted that comment about SC getting lessons has to be a top player in the league, or at least the Leftovers! Why don't you volunteer to give SC lessons. After all, that is what the I league is about.

At first when I read one of the comments above, I thought it was posted by a Komet and I was upset. Then in re reading it, it appears it is posted by a Leftover?

I do not believe the Komets have any issues with Stone Cold. He is always very nice and constantly wishes us well. Even comes out to support our games.

Stone Cold, the Komet remark was in fun. I dont believe that it was intended to be malicious in any way... We all need to laugh at ourselves every now and then...

I read this blog every now and then...and honestly its very funny at times. Sometimes however it is just stupid and somewhat inappropriate. However since I'm old I probably just don't get it. :-)

I did wish to say that Stone has some challenges that he has to over come...just like WE ALL DO! I too have seen a vast improvement in Colds' domineer and attitude and that is promising!

Amazing how the name of KW is still mentioned today. He was not just hated by the Spuds/Komets, but every team he ever skated for (just ask the Puckers, Phantoms and Spiders). It's amazing that one guy could build such a rep and he hasn't even skated in the Euless I league (or any other league at Euless) for over a year!

I do accept the apology from the Komets. However bad comments can go both ways! I've been know to make bad comments in a joking way, not to offend other people. If anyone has been offended with comments I maded, let me know and please don't put anonymous on the blog. Give me your name and I will personally apologize to you.

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm fun loving egomanic who loves attention. But also possesses a temper. My temper has been known get me in a lot of trouble; including excessive penalties, violet outburst in the dressing room and unnessessary comments made to offend people. A temper that has got me kicked off several rosters in the past.

I was a member of the Komets last year when they were young team learning the fundamentals of games and they paid the price with a 0-9 season. And I made a big mistake by not having any patiences and leaving the team after one season. The Komets have great chemistry and busted their asses to become a great team by winning the keg last season. And my mistake left me to play on a last place team for 3 straight seasons.

I've learned from my mistakes in the past and I'm taking measures to correct my own temper. Nobody hates losing more than me. I been patient with the Leftovers for 2 1/2 seasons and my patience has finally wore out. I apologize to the Leftovers for comments made on last weeks blog. But, immprovements are needed on the team in order to win. I always heard we play the game for fun. That is true! I love the game of hockey! But I'm not having any fun when a team finishes 1-8 for three straight seasons. When you are not having any fun, then it is time to leave!

I always tell my team that I would rather have a competetive game, win or lose, than a blowout win. My team has had the same roster with almost no change for about 5 seasons and one thing they try to do every week is have fun. Whether it's seeing a friend score their first goal in forever or drinking together after the game there is always a team atmosphere.

We may not be the best team in the league but every game we play our opponents know that it will be a clean competetive game. When someone scores on our team our whole bench erupts in celebration just for the fact that we're glad to see a teammate succeed. And when it's over, win or lose there's never any hard feelings afterwards.
In my opinion, THAT's what I league should be all about.

(This is not in response to any previous post just something I thought should be said)

Jr Komet, everything is cool and I'm not angry. I apologize for making a threat.

The comments that were made last night made me very angry. I now know who made the comments and will forgive em for making them.

I will do what I been trying to do for the past 3 seasons and that is trying to control my temper and have fun, then reavaluate myself at seasons end.
