I League Week 2: Preview

Leftovers vs Komets: 6:30 (Gold)
Komets took a tough loss last week at the hands of the brewzers. They look to bounce back in the Leftover’s season opener. The Leftovers didn’t have the best season last fall, but their one win did come against the komets.

Fugaweez vs Puckers: 7:30 (Green)
Puckers led by their new Skipper Jason Isham, hope to bounce back from their shut out last week. They will have to try and overcome a solid Fugaweez team who is trying to make it back to back wins. Jeff Vaughan says Jason Isham will do nothing for the Puckers, unless he plays for them.

Patriots vs Spiders-Gold: 7:45 (Gold)
Patriots look to make it 2-0 on the season by going against a solid spiders squad. Both teams pitched shutouts last game. Patriots are on a high of knocking off arch rival Mayhem, while the spiders knocked off the ice holes. Chris Gallagher vs Rahul Sharma in this one.

Brewzers vs Snipers: 8:45 (Green)
Brewzers try and stay undefeated as they go against the defending Stanley Keg Champions. If Mike Moore can make some saves like he did last game, Snipers could be in trouble. Henderson, Eysermans, and Halford look to win another game for Buckeye Nation.

Ice Holes vs Stickmen: 9pm (Gold)
Both Teams came off shutout losses last week. A must win is in order if any of these teams are going have a shot at the keg playoffs. Ice Holes are a 2-1 favorite in this one.

Spiders-Platinum vs Blue Devils: 10pm (Green)
Spiders Platinum had a dominating win against the puckers last week, but will face a slightly better team in the Blue Devils. A battle of young guns as Whitney Freeman goes against Mark Cameron. Spiders Platinum have the talent, but it may be the deep blue devils bench that wins the day.

Borrachos vs Stingers: 10:15 (Gold) I league game of the night
Stingers are still fuming from their shootout loss last weekend, while the MVP Sean Haley has promised victory and a hat trick. We’ll see if total eclipse will allow this prophesy to come to pass.

Warriors vs Mayhem: 11:15 (Green)
Coach Bobby Sirkis will try and rally his Soviet Mayhem squad as they try to even up at 1-1 on the season. However, the Warriors resemble the fugaweez team that made the keg a couple seasons ago. Should be a good one. Dallas Lehr will be signing autographs before the game.

Shockers: Practice-11:30 (Gold)

Sounds to me that Sean Haley is a ringer. I guess the Stingers will have to consider it a moral victory if they can hold Sean to only 2 goals.

Puckers are evidently renting by the week. That team wasn't the puckers instead they were D leaguers in puckers gear. Nice job guys.

Look down however as your dicks are still tiny.

waahhh... waahhh... sounds like some people need a crying towel, what else is new? Ringers, smingers. When a team loses, I guess they need an excuse instead of just accepting that they got beat. But aside from that, I just wanted to give you props on doing such a wonderful job on the website. Informative, yet entertaining! Keep up the good work!

I know what you mean. It looks Like the Stingers ringers were a little bit better than the Borrachos ringers.

I don't like ringers because I want to be the star of my own movie in my head.

What are you talking about? The Borrachos haven't said anything about the game yesterday against the Stingers! That was a great game and everyone that was involved were dead tired after that one, a true hockey game in every sense of the word.

Congrats to the Stingers on a great game played and note to the wise, go glove high on their goalie, you won't beat him low.

VIVA LOS BORRACHOS!

Great game Stingers ... the most fun game I have been involved in, in a long time.

Get over it. The Puckers team that played Sat is the team. Beside, you have have Stitch and half of the Beer Flyers from D League. Maybe if you guys would quit whinning after every loss, your team wouldn't have deserted you.

i saw the fugs score on themselves. so is it possible that you can have an undercover ringer play for the other team and score goals for you that way?

look out for the borrachos this season. they have a tough team and a good goalie. and as usual....beware of the total eclipse!

Borrachos' Goalie was tough to beat! Especially when he stacked the pads on Stinger's center 88 Roland shot.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, I sure didn't see anyone who looked like a ringer on the Borrachos last week???? That Sean Haley guy you guys are talking about must not have showed up Saturday.

But seriously, thanks borrachos, that game was one of the most fun, hard fought games we've had in the last couple seasons.

I had a blast on Sat night. The Borrachos have some fast skaters. I hope we meet up in the playoffs because that will be another great game.
